03 de Abril, 2020

Cajamar is now offering one-year grace periods on special finance facilities available to businesses, SMEs and the self-employed to help them meet any needs caused by the COVID-19 crisis.

These loans and special lines of credit are geared towards the payment of bills, wages, cash flow or other liquidity needs, including tax or financial liabilities. We are offering very special conditions, with a capital grace period of up to one year and a repayment term of up to 5 years.

This latest measure is part of a raft of different financial solutions Grupo Cajamar is rolling out in support of companies, SMEs, the self-employed and families to help them through the tough circumstances we are all facing. These solutions include extensions on the repayment terms of short-term loans and bridging loans; customising fees on returned cheques and promissory notes; the elimination and reduction of fees charged for POS terminals in accordance with their activity; expansion of financing for exports and imports; mortgage repayment holidays; free deferral of rental income from repossessions; advance payment of pensions and unemployment benefit; card issuance with zero fees; free cash withdrawals at ATMS owned by other banks; increasing the limit of Contactless Payments up to 50 euros, among others. The aim of all these measures, and others besides, is to support companies, the self-employed, families and older customers through this crisis, and to safeguard the health of our professionals and customers.

In order to avoid making unnecessary trips, Grupo Cajamar advises SMEs and self-employed customers to contact their managers by phone, through online banking, or the mobile app, allowing them to operate and exchange information and documentation instantly and securely through the channel 'Mi gestor conecta’
