Sustainability Report

The 2023 Sustainability Report of Grupo Cooperativo Cajamar, which covers both financial and non-financial information relevant to the financial year 2023. This report, approved by the Board of Directors of Banco de Crédito Social Cooperativo, S.A. (BCC), the Group's parent company, complies with the Non-Financial Information Reporting requirements set out in Act 11/2018.

The document encompasses the Group’s economic and financial performance and the impact of its activity in environmental, social and labour aspects, the prevention of corruption and respect for human rights, among other areas. In addition, it complies with the Non-Financial Reporting Regulation and the Principles of Responsible Banking (PRB). It should be noted that the non-financial information and PRB reported have been verified by the independent auditor KPMG.

The 2023 Sustainability Report is also part of the Group’s Management Report as a Non-Financial Report. This report encompasses both financial and non-financial entities within the Group, covering a total of 19 financial institutions and 16 non-financial entities.

The economic and financial information comes from Grupo Cooperativo Cajamar’s audited Annual Accounts for 2023 according to the consolidation perimeter established in them (Consolidated Group).

This report has been drawn up following the principles established by the International Integrated Reporting Council (IIRC), the criteria of the GRI (Global Reporting Initiative) standards and the Sectoral Supplement for Financial Services, as well as the indicators defined by the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB), according to its Industry Standards Version 2018-10.
